From my window at about 6:30 a.m., I could see the sunrise reflecting on Lake Michigan as I looked down Washington Blvd. This is the first sunrise I've seen since we've lived in this unit (as sunrise, to me, occurs in the middle of the night). If you look down the street, you first see Millennium Park and the sculpture over the stage, then the light from the sky reflected on the lake's surface. Almost worth insomnia!
What a fabulous view of the city made even more spectacular with that lovely sunrise! When I zoom in on all those windows I feel like I am in the Hitchcock film Rear Window. Fascinating! Love all those colours!
The morning light provided a super backdrop for this cityscape. As usual, your details are impeccable. Glad you were awake to capture it. I’m another one who rarely sees the sunrise.
Congratulations! Of course this is at the top of the Top Twenty! If you were so inclined I know the Chicago Chamber of Commerce would market your fair city with brochures using your photos. I’m sure local art galleries would display your work, as so many of your images are art. Businesses in downtown Chicago would love this in their offices, printed on metal, in a large format. This is a stunning example of your talent.
