Piercy Island, also known as The Hole In The Rock and by its Māori-language name Motu Kōkako, in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand.
The island and the hole doesn't look that large here but the boat we were on probably held in excess of 100 passengers and it would have normally sailed through the hole easily but the seas were rough the day we were there and we couldn't go through.
Taken during a 3 week visit to the North Island in Oct-Nov 2019, just before the proverbial shit hit the fan.
