Flock of Budgies

Day 7 - Namatjira Dr, West MacDonnell Ranges

On our way back to Alice Springs, Rhoda spotted this small flock of budgies not long after leaving Ormiston Gorge. The car came to a screeching halt and I managed to grabbed a few hasty shots.

Spoiler alert: Considering the places we were travelling through during the whole trip and especially through Western Queensland, we fully expected to see much larger flocks that this but unfortunately this was as good as it got. See https://365project.org/terryliv/directors-cut-2/2017-08-02
