Wildflowers Abound

Day 12 - Valley of the Winds Walk - Kata Tjuta

The wildflowers were prolific around Kata Tjuta and I loved how they contrasted with the deep ochre colour and texture of the domes

Don't bother to comment - just enjoy your tour of Kata Tjuta.

@jamibann Just before we went away, I read some tips for taking landscape photos and the person writing it said that he always uses a polarising filter when doing landscape photography. So I dusted off the filter that I had purchased a couple of years ago and had rarely used and it stayed on for just about the whole trip.

Only problem was that I kept forgetting to take it off for night time shots so I dont know what effect it had on them.

I loved Kata Tjuta even more that Uluru (and almost as much as Kings Canyon). This is a lovely shot. Its been a bumper year for wildflowers and birds. Great that you got down low to catch them.
