Day 21 - Daly Waters to Barkly Homestead

As you travel south on the Tablelands Highway, you leave the tropical savannah and enter the tropical grasslands of the drier Barkly Tableland. The only sign of civilisation we saw on the 380km drive from the Heartbreak Hotel to Barkly Homestead was a few head of cattle wandering along the edge of the road.

I always love the nothingness of this landscape.

The cattle must have gotten lost. Sure not anything out there for them. Nice capture.
