I had two other pics ready to go for tonight on a totally different subject but then the two galahs came in for a snack this afternoon so I picked up the camera and went out just in case. Result, the other pics got bumped and the galahs won the day. Can you tell which is the hen and which is the cock.

Unfortunately they are a bit of a pest out west where they live in large flocks and can make a mess of grain crops. They are also very funny to watch flying. Their flight is very erratic and seems to have no purpose of direction. Hence a lot of road kill out west.
