My Brisbane 57 - New Farm Park by terryliv

My Brisbane 57 - New Farm Park

Roses in the middle ground, Jacarandas behind with the city as a backdrop. We sure could do with some decent rain.

My apologies but I am still flat chat and will be for the next few days and may not have time for many comments. But I'll still be watching
Well this just answered my question in the photo above! Jacarandas :) Your grass certainly looks like it needs some good rain :)
Mmm..and clouds again :)

It certainly is turning brown. I will have to check but I'm sure it was this time last year I headed up to Sydney to help out with their bushfire chrisis. I hope we don't have to go up to Brissie this year.

Aha, a Silky Oak to contrast with the Jacarandas. It does look very dry, great shot BTW :)

@karlow75 Yes Kane. the Blue Mountains was this time last year. We have had very little winter rain so there shouldn't be much fuel for bushfires up here. Famous last words?

@hermann That's not a Silky Oak Sally. I don't know what it was. There were a couple of them in the park with bright yellow flowers.
