What Snake is That? by terryliv

What Snake is That?

A dead one of course.

Found this poor fellow dead in the middle of the track. He had only very recently been run over.

We think he is a King Brown or Mulga snake which is the world's second most venomous land snake.

And you were camping with these around? I have to say he is beautiful though!!

Sam
He didn't look dead, until you told me - then I saw the blood. You should have cloned out the blood and told everybody it was alive......imagine what a hero we all would have thought you were!!!

Thank God it is dead, I thought you were being so brave being so close to a king brown snake.

I'm glad you got a photo because I'm sure you wouldn't get this close to a live one this dangerous. I think it's skin is so interesting, yet it's sad to see the blood spattered on it.

Oh my I would not be comfortable knowing they were around. Nice shot though. The scales form beautiful patterns.

I wondered how you got the shot when I saw the thumbnail. Glad it's dead!
