The bird life around Cooper Creek where the Burke, Wills and King memorials were was prolific. There were a number of Pelicans cruising around and this guy came paddling down the creek to where we were having lunch when he suddenly lunged into the water and came up with this fish.
I wonder what the fish was thinking at this point.
Instant hit on the Fav button because of that silhouette of that caught fish!! I'd be thrilled to catch a pelican shot, period, but to get one with a fish going down the hatch, well, that'd be over the top.
