Whistling Kite

After missing out on my shots of the Wedge Tail Eagle in the morning, when we returned to Innamincka I walked back to where we had seen him to see if he would return to the same source of food.
While I waited, and waited, and waited, I practised for his arrival by taking shots of the Whistling Kites who were all checking me out.
Love the way this one is looking straight at me.

Alas, no eagle :-(
