Spotlight on the Painted Desert

After Lake Eyre, we flew over the Painted Desert.

I don't know about other 365ers from Oz but I had never heard of it. It is wholly contained within the giant Anna Creek cattle station (the largest in the world) and for us mere mortals, it can only been seen from the air.

Conditions weren't the best with fairly widespread cloud cover.

Interesting shot, the hills look quite big and there seems to be quite a number of water courses at some time looking at all the lines of bushes.
