The cable car going from Furgg to Trockener Stegg at the base of Klein Matterhorn is the highest in Europe. You can see the lines of the cable car from Schwarzsees to Furgg in the valley below.
The view from Klein Matterhorn was breathtaking. This was one of an 11 photo sequence I took covering almost 360deg. I am still trying to get some decent stitching done for a panorama.

I have been waiting to hear back from a lady about the ultimate photo walk I was planning for over a month now but still nothing. When we were in Birdsville in August, I took a photo of a truck/bus that had Desert Edge tours scrawled across it. When I got home I Googled it and it turns out they run short tours out of Birdsville. One tour was a 4 nighter called 3 Corners that went to Cameron's Corner, Poeppel's Corner and Haddon's Corner and as soon as I got the dates for next years tour, I was gong to put it out to 365 as the ultimate photo walk to see if anyone else was interested in doing it. I say "were all set" because these plans are now in disarray. The people who owned the B&B we stayed at the last night in Alice have asked us to house sit their B&B for seven weeks next year while they go on a cruise. We have said yes and will now be in Alice from 26 May to 06 Jul next year. WooHoo!!! We may have had our fill of Central Oz by the end of this.
But back to a more immediate photo walk. Do you have any suggestions of a location or type of location?
