Day 8 - West MacDonnell Ranges

Still at the lookout opposite the Ellery Creek turn off and the view south of the grasses and other vegetation brought about by the unusual summer rains. This would normally be red rocky earth.

Love those little bluey coloured round bushes.

This is what it was like last time we were out that way. It was so green compared to previous trips.

@merrelyn We didn't know whether to feel privileged or disappointed to see it like this. Much of the time the landscape looked like a million other places and really lacked the dramatic impact of the barren red rocky earth. On the other hand . . . . . .
