Life is tough for the trees (probably Desert Oaks) trying to grow in the cracks in the rocks.
About this time we came across a 500mtr return rock hopping "walk" that went off towards the head of the canyon and the edge of the north wall. Rhoda didn't think she could manage the rock hopping bits so I went on my own. I didn't want to leave her for too long so it was pretty rushed.
