Wait, wait, don't move too fast! I am trying to focus on you!
My wild-life day. :) (Although yesterday's pic also counts as wild-life.) This one is from the park near our house, on a wet path.
Thank you so much for stopping by, commenting and critiquing! I appreciate all kinds of input.
Oh thank you, Lucy and Annie!
Lucy, I am glad it made you laugh!
Annie - it helped so much that it was a very dark and post-rainy morning, and the snail was just glistening with all that moisture. Thank you!

Thank you, Ann! I wasn't laying on the ground, but my camera was almost. Actually, I balanced it a couple of inches off the ground in my hands. The Nikon 5100 has a swivel LCD screen that really comes out and you can tilt it any way you want, which is a life-saviour in many situations. It is harder to focus and I really have trouble to produce shots with straight horizon line when using it at weird angles, but I think it is an awesome feature and lets you get to things that sometimes would be unavailable just because you can't get your head there to look into a real viewfinder.
Thank you all so much for such positive response to the little snail. I think from now on, the snails (an maybe the turtles) would be my favourite live subject to focus on - very patient, very compliant, very slow :) Thanks!
Your photography is great Vera! (the little I have had a chance to flick through anyway) ... Love this snail. And your car reflection shots, very clever :)
Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments and favs on the little snail. Today was another rainy day, and I've noticed I looked at them with completely different eyes and appreciation of how pretty they actually are! I am glad you liked the picture!!!!
Thank you so much, Gena, Susan and Kim! I am thrilled so many people liked the snail! Yet another reason to get out on a rainy day without excuses! Thanks!
Lucy, I am glad it made you laugh!

Thank you so much! I am happy I didn't step on it while walking! But it was really easy to spot as bright and light-coloured as it was!
