Stay-at-home kind of day, wet and rainy and many things to do. Nothing exciting. Took some stuff upstairs and had to go up again with my camera - those old closets are built-in into the attic and will be demolished soon for remodelling. The light came from the little skylight and made some deep shadows in the background.

I am with everyone else on this - don't demolish them! They are wonderful doors. Reuse them - horizontally as a headboard or a room divider or something!

And yes... the doors.... well, unfortunately, they are not mine to have. Since we are in Germany just for a couple of years, we are renting the place, and these belong to the home owner. So, it's up to him what exactly will happen with these. I already asked to "save" a old balance scale with weights from the stuff he had in the attic and has been taking out over the last weeks. So, we will see what he decided to do - this particular closet is right in the space of the newly planned entry door to the attic.
