One of the symbols of Ludwigsburg - the Baroque city church from an unofficial perspective: from the hill outside of the city center, across the railroad tracks. I liked the contrast of the new and the old in this view.

@chrisf It is not that well known outside of Germany - usually the tourists are more interested in the medieval stuff and old towns. By German standards, this is a pretty young 300-year old city, basically king's residence just north of Stuttgart. Started as a hunting palace, then grew to a pretty big place + town. I have more shots of the city in the earlier months here, I believe.
