No way back now! by vera365

No way back now!

I walked through the palace gardens today - still open for walking through, no ticket required as the official season does not start till March. But it doesn't mean it's empty - all the "wild" spring flowers are shooting out of the ground, creating splashes of color everywhere. I guess, spring is coming! I went for a bit of impressionistic look here with a shallow DOF, not sure it is working. But I liked the color, not the actual flowers :)
Thanks for visiting!
Whimsical little scene Vera, I do think it looks impressionistic! Love all those little shoots, hopefully they don't seize up in the next cold wave or the overnight frost...

Hi Vera. Thanks for the challenge - excellent choice :)

Mine to you is to capture an action scene. Not necessarily sports but something full of energy or 'busy'-ness. You have some fantastic photos that capture people's moments of stillness within the storm, so this challenge is to show the energy of people in full flow. Hope this is okay (or makes sense, even!)

@pistache I did take a picture of all the freshly planted flowerbeds, black with fresh soil, harbouring the multitude of tulip bulbs inside - with you in my thoughts :)

@maree_sanderson It's the "Blooming Baroque" gardens near the residential palace in Ludwigsburg, Germany. We live just around the corner from here. Here is the site in German: http://www.blueba.de And here is some information in English: https://www.stuttgart-tourist.de/en/a-bluehendes-barock-engl
