For my question about today's shot: earlier frame

I prefer this one because in the other the line between the grass and the dark trees cuts across its body. Both great captures of a bird in flight.

I think this looks more natural, but I do like the dark tones of the previous, which seems to highlight the bird more. Super capture of this bird taking off.

I prefer this shot to the later one as the bird is more defined. In the other shot the Wing gets lost in the dark background. Both nice action shots

Thank you all so much for taking time to look at the pictures, compare and express your opinion! I was happy to be so close to him - he was just sitting in the middle of a field, and let me get pretty close. I have never seen one so close before, so I was grateful to be able to take a good look at him and then see him taking off and flying away.
