At the Marine Festival in Saint Petersburg today, there were lots of participants, including people from all the sail ships that took part in the races or shows, performers, craftsmen etc etc... In the hectic of all of the big event, this couple was enjoying a very engaging conversation with a Russian Samovar - the self-heating tea-kettle. Basically, a pipe where you make fire goes though the middle, surrounded by the reservoir for the water that heats up from the fire in the middle part. A fosset on the side, and you can have your hot water sitting there ready for you for hours (just keep the fire going) - nice relaxing conversation guaranteed. The dry crunchy cookies can be hung onto the samovar on the side like that - for convinience.
