I've no idea what these flowers are, they were in a municipal flower bed in the Loire town of Azay le Rideau but I thought that they were so spectacular that I couldn't resist posting them today.

Lovely shot, the colours are really brilliant for sooc.
I had a go at the challenge yesterday but messed up the focal length, and left the camera in RAW. I will have another go today :)

What a wonderful colorful flowers. They look like blanket flowers or Indian blanket. Gaillardia . It was named after an M. Gaillardia de Charentonneau,

@janiskay Thanks for this Jan - what I also liked about these is that there are buds, fully open blooms and those lovely global seed heads, all at the same time.
