I realised yesterday that for this month where I'm using a 90mm (F/F equivalent) macro lens all month, I have done little so far to exploit its inherent qualities. I have mostly been using it as a general purpose lens, which it is ill suited to be, so for the rest of the month I will try to make the most of its potential.
This image of pussy willows is sooc and is a great example of the quality of the Jpegs produced by Fuji X series cameras - Acros +Yellow Filter film simulation in use here.
This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for March it's the Fujinon 60mm f/2.4 Macro on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji XT2) - the equivalent of a 90mm lens on a full-frame camera.
I love the detail on this photo. I do follow your photos with interest because I use a FujiXT1. I was given it by my husband for Christmas 2 years ago and it has helped me into manual photography. Thanks for the inspiration from your photos.
Interesting observation on your use of the 90mm Richard. Not sure that I fully agree.. the flower shots and that one of the fence post and wire were probably well served by it, as of course is this one.
