PLAY March - Fuji 60mm f/2.4: Trees...

I can't be the only one who has happened upon an unremarkable scene , banal even, but... but, there is just something about it that captures your attention and won't let go. So it was with this scenario that I encountered on my forest walk this afternoon... I liked the way that the standing trees seemed to be standing sentinel over their fallen comrade.

This is for my PLAY project - you can read more about it in my profile - where I'll be using a different prime lens for each month of the year: for March it's the Fujinon 60mm f/2.4 Macro on an APS-C sensor camera (today the Fuji XT2) - the equivalent of a 90mm lens on a full-frame camera.

View on black... definitely!
I like the play of colors acrosste center of the image and the overall texture as if it is raining.

VML the shimmeriness and reflections here so much so I find it well nigh impossible to discern what's above and what's below the water. Very worthy fav.
