I finally visited the windmill today that resides in Nottingham. Green's Windmill is in a strange place as it sits a few minutes away from the city centre and is amongst residential housing. It's a working windmill with grain actually being made. I've planned on visiting it a few times, and today I finally did.
I took a quite a few shots from the outside and I ventured inside for a few more. I wasn't that happy with many of the shots, but this one at a slight angle is okay I think.
So, tomorrow I venture to the Peak District (weather permitting). The Peak District is a very hilly, scenic place in the Midlands. I last went there when I was in primary school, which is silly really as it's a beautiful place only about 50 miles away. I'm quite excited!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

Nice shot and like how the colour pop. Hmmm.... last week I spotted a windmill near to home that I hadn't noticed before and thought I would have to visit one day... So if you see a mill in the next week or so.. I'm not copying...lol
love this--the colors are so vivid, and that windmill is gorgeous!! really like the angle as well.
also, thanks for the comment and fave on my 'mills lake' shot!!
The "countryside" is so pretty, even if it IS in the city centre, haha - I've never seen a real windmill though, so I really like this. Have a good day at the Peak District :)
Happy snapping over the weekend...
