I was in town today with a couple of my good pals. I was discussing how I have a camera with me at all times, yet have rarely used it recently. So, I took it out and took a shot of my friend John Wynn whilst my other friend was otherwise occupied. I didn't think it was a great shot, but after reviewing and processing it I'm actually fairly happy with it.
I quite like this because I'm a fan of street photography - something I don't do enough. John looks like he means business, hence today's title (and because he's a massive Rolling Stones fan)! In Photoshop I added a red vintage mask to achieve this effect. I think the vintage look is apt for John because of the type of character he is.
I do have other friends - honest! I've posted a few photos of John so far, but he's just so interesting a subject. He has such character and I think this comes through in his portraits. I think it's about time I did the odd shoot with my other friends, as I don't want to show any favouritism...
