I've had a long day doing chores today. I've delayed certain jobs around the house for a while, and I thought it was about time I got round to them. One of the tasks involved changing the bulb in a halogen spot light in the en suite shower, which is a lot more work than your regular bulb, I assure you! The bulb does reflect light in an interesting way, so much so that I did a few macro shots of it.
I did this using the reverse macro technique I described on day 112. In post-processing I increased the contrast and the clarity. I like the shapes the light makes as it reflects off the bulb.
It struck me today that the days are getting noticeably shorter. I noticed because sunset is now before dinner, instead of after! I'll soon be able to get sunset shots at a reasonable time in the evening, some night shots in the city, and so on. It's funny how the seasons can significantly effect the type of photography one does.

Nice one Vik. I too have been thinking about how the shortening days will soon be significantly effecting my shots. It will be fun until I get sick of taking tripod shots outside in the cold all the time!
love love love it!!;)
