We went to a nearby castle (which we never visited in the 15 years we ware livin in this area...) and I was looking for a good photo spot. I had a wide angle in my mind to I ignored the possible detail shots. This was the best one I could spotted today. On the left side, the trees are blocking the view on the tower. I am fine with the shot, but I have the feeling that more would be possible ...
Thanks for the follow! I wanted to say that I like this, and am only adding this critique because 1) you asked for critiques in your profile, and 2) I feel that I have grown more from constructive criticism than from compliments (please critique my work and/or tell me to tone it down if this isn't what you want)
It seems like you nailed the exposure, color and force the eye down the path to the house, however the bricks are really cool, but could use a supporting foreground object, and the dark trees to the left aren't adding to this shot. Perhaps if you moved forward (or cropped in) and had that cool railing topper to the left near the edge it would simplify the image on your subject?
@teriyakih Thanks for following and for you feedback. You are right, to railing topper would be better in the foreground. Next time I am arount there, I will try it.
