Well, I am super-pleased with these photos today! I went out to take a picture of what I thought was a woodpecker's hole, but then found I had failed to replace my memory card in my camera :-( Silly mistake. When I got to the spot where I had seen the hole, there was this squirrel taking the morning sun on his door step!! My camera allowed me to take 2 shots before claiming it's memory was full. I am chuffed!
I use an L840 too - you can lower the resolution to get more shots - I got 90 once (on a different camera) - good enough in some situations when the alternative is getting none at all!
@anniesue Hi, thanks for the follow. I am so pleased to hear from someone else who uses an L840! My son said the same thing but I haven't yet found out how to alter the resolution, will investigate further. Are you happy with the camera?
@365anne I'm getting some decent shots - tho' I still use a compact for portability. Later today I'll look to see how to change the resolution and give you a hint.
@365anne it's quite straightforward! Press 'menu' button on the back of the camera, and it's the first page. Just click down to the resolution which will give you however many pics you think you want to take til you're back at your memory card ;-) 4M gives you 112, which seems reasonable.
