I took myself and my camera to the Burghley Horse Trials in Stamford today. Was a lovely day (I have the burning shoulders to prove it!) and I am quietly pleased with some of my shots, will post some more over the coming days.

@hermann Thank you Sally, yes, there were several interesting looking jumps on the course, not just the fallen tree trunks usually associated with cross country courses

@farmreporter Thank you so much Wendy, Lion Bridge is a lovely backdrop, wasnt sure whether to include more of it but that would have meant having the horse smaller in the shot

A friend had asked me to go there Saturday for a camera day but then she had to cancel at last minute !!
