Hope it can go some way towards dymystifing some of the more techincal stuff that I dont understand @@ludwigsdiana I will let you know how I get on with it! @30pics4jackiesdiamond That was a bit of a tongue in cheek comment Jackie! He is going to help me get my camera set up for some of the projects and then we will see how we go! I would love to go out on a camera walk with him but with his work and now 3 little ones time is at a premium for him! @salza I agree Sally, always room to look to improve a little though! The whole technical side of photography is quite a mystery to me still! @koalagardens You are quite right! He is very encouraging and tries to help me to understand photography better - he was behind me getting the dslr back in the summer as he thought I should move on from my faithful bridge camera. Still struggling with it all though! @shutterbug49 It is lovely that we do have something we enjoy in common, sadly as photography is his job and has been for a number of years he looks at it in a different way now. I think there is always a tension when your "passion" becomes your work @quietpurplehaze Yes indeed!! Now to get started in earnest!
