The prickly outside is wicked looking. I understand there's a moth that's invading these trees.

@jacqbb It will be interesting to see, many horse chestnut trees I have seen have no conkers on at all, despite having had beautiful "candles" in the spring
@shutterbug49 I guess they are all stressed now through lack of water and struggling to do what they normally would.
@randystreat It does look wicked! Oh really, I didnt know that, I will look it up
