@milaniet Yes, Milanie when you are staying on the west side I would be delighted to show you around Flathead Lake. It's the biggest fresh water lake this side of the Mississippi. 30 miles long and 15 wide. Lots of photo ops!
@365karly1 Not at all Karly but I am a mapaholic and when you were posting photos of the mountains, and then lakes, it drives me nuts if I don't know what part of the world they are from. Your info in your bio said that you lived in NW Montana so I guessed it was around that area somewhere. Just didn't know what lake.
However, our son and DiL are going snow boarding in Whitefish for 10 days or so on their way home to Oz from Chicago in January so I will get to hear a lot more about it all then. :-)
@terryliv Yes, if they are snowboarding in Whitefish they would fly into Kalispell. They will have a great time. The resort is beautiful and the small town of Whitefish is fun with lots of great places to eat!
