A brown Kiwi ,freezed dried used in adversion training

This morning we took Flynn to Kiwi adversion training ,there was a deadKiwi body and this one ,both used specifically for this training ,
Flynn is to go back in 6mths then its an annual occurence, Mintee is just a bit young as yet.
What is adversion training. I guess I'm too old to know all the new things. whatever it is, the picture looks great.

May 28th, 2017
A terrific picture. It looks definitely real. Who does the training? The owner? How do they keep track of it? It sounds very fascinating

May 28th, 2017
@mkoso65 Hi no it isnt but if you want to go into forests with your dogs its a no no unless you have a permit from Doc and they require this in case your dog gets away from you , having said that there are always some who take no heed of any rules etc
May 28th, 2017
@susale @dkbarnett Thanking you both
May 28th, 2017
@marcy0414 I think if people care there dogs are under good control but if they do get away atleast one knows you have done all possible

@hermann @merrelyn @ludwigsdiana @carole_sandford @carolmw

May 28th, 2017
@craftymeg Hi If unsuccessful then no permit would be given to enter forests areas , however having said that there are always some who have no regard for rules etc or care about endangered species
May 28th, 2017
@grammyn Hi Katy yes it is real ,the training is done by approved DOC , Department of Conservation volunteers .
On the day a paper record is given all owners showing names of dogs and council registrations all dogs in NZ are also suppose to be microchipped
