Quail

We were camping at Taupo NZMCA park which backed on to bush , our dogs were getting excited but we couldn’t hear or see anything , Keith decided to take them for a walk , not long after they left out came this big flock of quail ,
this is only part of the group .

Oh wow! I'm so jealous! The quail is my state bird (in California, USA), but I rarely see them - let alone in such a group! Great shot!
