My Pebble smartwatch (which connects to your phone via Bluetooth and shows e-mails, calls, SMSes, etc. on the screen) finally arrived today, after almost ten long months of waiting following their Kickstarter funding campaign. I backed the project on the first day so got one of the earliest watches off the production line.
Since it's called a Pebble, I figured it would be appropriate to photograph it amongst some pebbles.
I was hoping to get some misty water effects around it, but it's simply too light -- if I placed it where enough water would flow over it, it would move about and risked getting carried away into the Pacific!
I'm a British software developer and photographer living in Vancouver, BC. I mainly photograph landscapes, cityscapes, night scenes, and water.

The stones are beautiful! Lovely shot! I just can't imagine the watch! Sometimes I have to stash my phone away because I get tired of the alerts. I can't imagine hooking it to my body. Wonderful concept for business people, I suppose.
Lovely shot. Read a review, sounds promising but alas it is no fashion statement just yet. I like that the daily life of the smartphone battery would be extended due to less need to check the phone for messages. I'll wait til the face comes in gold lol
Great way of presentation.
Perfect composition for the watch too--they should use your photo on their website!!
