Went out on a long exposure photowalk this morning (although walk is a bit of an exaggeration, as I think I went about 20 yards in three hours!)
This is a shot from Crescent Beach in South Surrey, taken from under the pier. I used a total of 15 stops of filtration to take this 3 minute 20 second exposure in daylight.
I'm a British software developer and photographer living in Vancouver, BC. I mainly photograph landscapes, cityscapes, night scenes, and water.
If you're interested in any...
@nikkar This was using a Lee 'Big Stopper' 10 stop ND filter, a Lee circular polariser (approximately 2 stops), and a Lee 3-stop hard graduated ND filter. The hard-edge graduated filters are big enough that if you slide them all the way down, they work as a solid 3-stop filter (so you effectively get two filters for the price of one, which is nice).
The tripod was set up very low to the ground for this shot and was almost fully underwater by the end of the exposure.

Yay for b&w. ;)
Don't know how I missed it 1st time around!
