After watching the sun set from the pier in North Vancouver, dusk falls, and across the water the downtown city lights shimmer and sparkle. Sit down and admire the view with me for a few minutes.

This is a beautiful shot Alexis. The background sparkles colour and I just love the colour and texture of the wood. One thing bothered me though, I found my attention drawn to the post/pole, right in the middle.
@voiceprintz I've tried that, it doesn't work. We've come to an arrangement -- I take the lens out with me in my bag, so it doesn't feel left out being at home, and it agrees that I don't have to use it. That way we're both happy ;)
ah...a 50mm...hadn't peeked at what you were using. I'll retract my suggestion. I have the same prob with a 50. I don't find it so nifty. I'm so glad others do. Your miles ahead of me if you carry it with you. It should feel honored. Mine isn't even in my bag. The "big boys" would crush it. ;)
Lovely Alexis...so welcoming to sit on that seat & enjoy that fantastic view....the bokeh of the distance shore lights is so pretty. I would sit on that seat with pleasure! Fav.
