Lovely post box. My guess is that the words are in Flemish which I absolutely do not understand. What I see a bit strange in this postbox is that it carries the coat of arms of the British Royalty - am I correct?

I think it's the coat of arms of the Netherlands. And the Dutch and the British Royal Families are related (goes back to William IV, I think).
