There's not a huge chance of me declaring love for Melbourne - it's not my favourite city and I've never felt at home here, I figured I might as well learn a bit more about it though, and this weekend is 'Open House' weekend, with chance to look around lots of buildings for free, so I thought I'd see what's worth a peek. My programme arrived in the post today, so here it is :) Hopefully I can plan some interesting activities and have some cool shots to show you at the weekend!

I understand what you mean. I felt the same about Phoenix in the U.S. I tried many times to connect with that city. In the end I have a few favorite memories and special places, but I won't miss Phoenix.
I'm sure Melbourne has some sites worth visiting . I hope you have a fun weekend. It's too bad you live in a city where you don't feel totally at home.
