Saturday = birdy bath day! Here's Phoenix taking her weekly dip in her bath tin. I played around with the miniature mode on the camera, and love the focus on her eye :)

@bella_ss It's supposed to make things appear small - something about blurring the top/bottom of the pic and boosting the colours. I think it might be the same as tilt/shift, but not sure...
@alia_801 Oh, very cool. I noticed the blur and thought at an aperture of f6 that you wouldn't have got the shallow dof and wondered if you had processed the blur. I really like the effect. Those lensbabys are amazing aren't they?
@olivetreeann It turns out that to make things actually look miniature you need the right distance between you, them and the background, and the right objects to start with. It didn't really make Phoenix look smaller in this pic (though it did in a couple of others I took), but I liked the overall effect anyway :)
Wonderful shot, I love how you manage to capture the personalities of your Sun Conures. Its also cool in this picture that you couldn't freeze the wings. :-) I know just how fast they can move at bath time.
