Balconies

Today's word is 'balconies'. I stopped off on my way back from dancing class to grab a pic of these apartments which have balconies outside the windows. I like the cool towers too :)

@indianabluejay I remember using HDR and soften. I tried a bunch of other techniques, but I think they were the only ones I actually used... (You know my overprocessing philosophy - I just click things until I like the result...) :)

@indianabluejay Oh, and it was nearly dark when I started, so the ISO was really high, which made it a bit grainy.

Alia, I like this evening shot, but please try and take your time, no tripod, then lean against something to steady yourself, as this is slightly blurred.

@dannydavies Thanks for the tips! It's a great plan, but when it's 9pm after 11 hours at work, I just go with grabbing a shot that fits the challenge without worrying too much about the niceties :) Once semester is out of the way I will hopefully have more time to worry about my technique again.

PS - I just noticed the comment above. I find the blur to add to the mood. Just sayin'. (I actually thought you might have added the blur in processing. I sometimes do that with "ortonish" effect on picnik.)
