Family traditions #2 - Thankful 4 challenge

Almost every Thursday we splash out on yummy curry from the local veggie restaurant. Here are our starters - onion bhajis (other half's) and samosas (mine) - I tried to make some sort of flying insect shape out of them - not sure I succeeded though!

If you haven't managed to make an insect out of them, you have raised my appetite. They look so tasty and now I'll be off to have a bite becuase they made me hungry.

Very creative shot of food! I've never had curry. It's probably too spicy for me.

@jenrobcarr Yep, we're lucky. The 'mainstream' Indian restaurant has several veg choices which are vegan, and we also have a veg Indian restaurant where all but a couple of the choices are vegan :)

@ellimae The onion bhajis are onions and spinach fried in a batter. The samosas (pyramid-shaped ones) are spiced mashed potato and peas fried in pastry. These are the starters. We also got two yummy curries :)

@prttblues Good curry doesn't have to be 'hot' spicy - I'm not a chilli fan, and our local curry place always asks how hot we want them. They still use lots of spices to give it amazing flavours, but they don't burn your mouth.
