A gorgeous photo! The feathers on her head and tummy look so soft and downy! Will she let you stroke her or doesn't she like that?

@678tabby Magic is very sociable and is happy to have scritches on her head. It is possible to touch her wings, tummy etc, but you have to be very careful as touching anywhere other than their heads would only normally be done by a mate, so sets off their hormones and triggers egg laying.

Oh what a wonderful shot of her feathers, so soft and fluffy..!
BTW both guinea pigs will now come to take a tidbit off me, and when I went to rescue them from their outdoor run in a storm they both ran towards me and the box I was holding out for them. One will snuggle up for a little cuddle, the other will scratch out and bite me if he can! Patience is winning ... slowly!
