I missed yesterday's 'flash of colour' day in the B&W bookclub - perhaps that was a good thing, because this was the sunrise I awoke to this morning. It was just screaming out to be photographed, so I was happy to oblige.
Sadly the lovely colours are mostly due to the smoke in the air from the many fires that have been burning across Victoria recently, destroying houses, woodland, bushland and farms. It sounds like they finally have most of the fires under control, for now.
What a gorgeous sky! Beautifully captured, Alia! I am sorry to hear of the reason. I hope they get them under control and that everyone is safe from harm.
