The Science of Doctor Who show I've been involved with has finally finished its semi-national tour with four great shows in Melbourne. It's been tiring but so much fun, and so rewarding to hear kids cheering and clapping science! And I led the Daleks to 14-0 victory over other monsters from the series too. Such fun times. Fingers crossed we get to do it all again next year!
It sounds like a really enjoyable show for young and old. I don't know anything about Dr. Who- but the pictures remind me of Star Wars. Did Dr. Who precede Star Wars or is it the other way around. I'm glad to hear the program went so well. Best wishes for next year!!
Yay! Congrats on finishing. Will they be putting it to video so you can send them to your friends?? Great shot. I am such a Whovian. You must feel really accomplished, Alia. And congratulations on your victory! Woohooo!! And FYI - the new Doctor will be appearing in August!! I still miss David Tennant. I'll give the new one a chance.
@olivetreeann Ann - Doctor Who was around in the 60s. It goes WAY back .... Star Wars came later. I love Doctor Who. Not so much a Star Wars fan.
So wish the tour could later come to the U.S.! I've seen one season only of Dr. Who but am hooked. For someone like me who was into Night Gallery and Twilight Zone, I do not know how I missed out on Dr. Who all those years! It blows them away with its originality!
