(Still waiting for the asbestos test results to come back, so another night in the motel tonight. Thankfully it's a nice place to stay).

@gigiflower They're at the bird boarding centre (= parrot hotel), probably being spoilt rotten! We booked them in for a few weeks and dropped them off the day before the work started to allow for fumes/overruns.... Good thing too really :)

Not a bad view for a motel. Wow- you've had your share of hotel stays this year. Weren't you in a motel for a few days when your kitchen or some other room was being remodeled?

@olivetreeann We had a motel stay mid-year when the toilet fell through the floor, one for our visit to Sydney, and now this one with the kitchen/asbestos... Hopefully that's it for the year!
