Theatre!
My friend Karen and I went to see Ghost the musical at the Regent Theatre. It's an amazing building - very ornate.
The show was ok - technically very good, but lacking in emotional punch.

I thought it would be hard to beat the emotional impact of Whoopie, Demi and Patrick. Corny movie maybe but still one I love.

@pandorasecho The musical rushed a lot of the emotional moments, or turned them into songs that distracted from them. I just didn't feel any connection with any of the characters in the story - unlike the film which really packed a punch!

The theater is beautiful- too bad the music didn't live up to the splendor. We're off to see Katie in Music Man tonight but as it is a community theater production, the setting will not be as spectacular.
