I found it rather odd that the headlight of a car would be obscured by the brand name. When I Googled the name, this is what i learned. According to the manufacturer:
"PIAA lenses are computer designed for optimum performance and are made of hardened prism cut glass to withstand the rigors of off road racing and normal highway hazards. PIAA's lamps feature a specially designed polyphenylene sulfide composite, aluminum or stamped steel housing. These materials make it possible for the lamps to operate using higher wattage bulbs without sacrificing bulb life. PIAA quality makes PIAA lighting systems the serious driver's choice."
I still think it would work more effectively if the letters of the brand name weren't blocking the beam.
Typical of the world of advertising ... they just want the name to be seen, regardless of effect. It's just like "designer" fashions and all those expensive shirts with footballers' names or "I heart NY" on them ... but a lot of people are prepared to spend their hard-earned money to carry the name of somebody else's product!
