Magnolia

A magnolia tree usually has blooms in all stages of opening. Often the petals will have turned brown and unattractive even while it has barely opened. This particular blossom was just about perfect.
We have the smaller multi-colored version around here but I once saw this type blooming in NJ and the fragrance was heavenly! Lovely capture.
