Spicy Paneer Roti Wraps by andycoleborn

Spicy Paneer Roti Wraps

Hunger rules! Hence lack of anything better today.

There's nothing like a spicy veg and paneer roti (or three) when hunger pains come calling... Learnt this one from my girlfriend, and is a delish and quick meal whenever I can't be bother doing 'proper' cooking.

Slice 1 red and 1 white onion, couple of garlic cloves, 1 hot chilli, red & green bell peppers, courgette, a few sliced toms and sliced mushrooms. Fry in wok for a few minutes, add some Panch Phoran mix (cumin/fenel/fenugreek/mustard & nigella seeds), bit of tumeric, cubed paneer, a healthy slug of chilli sauce (Nando's works) and fry for another 10 minutes or so. Meanwhile, heat up some roti's then make your wraps.... Finger lickin' good :-)

Went to a 'topping out' ceremony at a new build site in work today... was expecting today's pic to come from there but all it was was guys in hard hats and hi-viz jackets standing about... boring pics...
yummy! it looks so good

Whoa! Show us your food any day! You're such an amazing cook Andy! That was sweet to share the recipe; I suppose I could find everything if I went to an Indian Foods specialty store.

nudge nudge...you going to "show your face" for this weeks theme? (Giving you some photo ideas here...)

agree with everybody..and I like this kind of wrap food...by the way, the word roti is like the indonesian language for bread...does it mean something like that? and does paneer (or in indonesian lang spelling panir) here mean bread crumbs?
